Jesus asked Peter, “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered,“You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being” (Matthew 16:15-17, NLT). Rather than rely on what others have told us about him, we must all know him for ourselves, through study, prayer and time alone with him.
A.W. Tozer said, in The Knowledge of the Holy: “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” Knowing him is the most important thing you can do in your life, and it will take your whole life to really get to know him.
Many misconceptions abound about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. This blog is all about getting to know him, without the baggage we’ve accumulated along the way. Thanks for visiting and God bless you as you get to know him.

I am enjoying your life experiences and hope to spend a retreat or conference with you and other women of the faith soon. It has been a long time; glad to be back in the fold.
